As Alaska Airlines has been beset with operating challenges this year, Alaska Airlines has announced a new Senior Vice President of Airport Operations and Customer Services, Wayne Newton.

Since January 1st, Alaska Airlines has had numerous flight delays and cancellations. These cancellations have led to company CEO, Ben Minicucci, to send out a video to customers apologizing for the inconveniences caused by delays and emphasizing Alaska’s plan to get back to standard operations.

By instilling a veteran in Airport Operations and Customer Services, Alaska is betting heavily that it will be able to improve upon its latest flight troubles and provide customers with the excellent customer service that Alaska is known for.
