Today, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind finally opened at Disney’s EPCOT park. Staring the Guardians of the Galaxy, the rollercoaster takes guests on a fun and funny journey throughout space. Using a reserve-launch and 360 degree turning ride vehicles (or should we say spaceships?!?!?) guests are flown to the far-reaches of the galaxy.

Just like a trip to real-space, it is not easy getting a spot in line for this endeavor. Guests can either buy an individual Lightning Lane pass or join the virtual queue to access the attraction.
Lightning Lane passes can be purchased starting at 7:00 am EST for Disney Hotel and Select Hotel guests and at park open for non-disney hotel and select hotel guests. However, we caution that it will be hard for non-disney hotel guests to get Lightning Lane access due to the popularity around this ride.

For guests trying to get entry through the Virtual Queue, they must have a same-day park reservation for the chance to reserve a spot at 7:00 am. Otherwise, they will have to wait for the 1 pm queue entry that is available for anyone who is in EPCOT at that time.
For either of these processes, guests must use the My Disney Experience app and link their park and hotel reservations to their Disney account.
We wish our readers good luck as some on Twitter today have shared difficulties in getting a ride reservation. See Kyle’s tip below for some of his advice on how to land a coveted reservation
Kyle’s Tip: Make sure to go on the My Disney Experience app a few minutes prior to the ticket release and keep refreshing until the reservation time. If you don’t see the information populate at exactly the right time, I would recommend to keep refreshing as it might take a second to populate. From my own experience, if you are traveling with others, have multiple people try for the same queue or Lightning Lane window to have the best chances of getting a ticket to the ride. This is especially true if you are trying to make other Genie+ or Lightning Lane reservations at the same time.
