As a new quarter approaches, Chase is gearing up for the summer with new Chase Freedom Flex credit card categories. Take a look below for the new offerings that will help you save for your next trip (and save a little at the pump too)!

The Categories

For those of you new to point credit cards, the Chase Freedom Flex offers 5x points earning on different categories and/or merchants each quarter. For this upcoming quarter, Chase has unveiled that they will be offering 5x points (for those with a Chase Sapphire branded Credit Card) or 5% Cash Back (for those without a Chase Sapphire branded Credit Card) on: Gas Stations, Rental Car Agencies, Movie Theaters, and Select Live Entertainment.

To take advantage of these offers, make sure to activate the new bonus categories in your Chase account so you can start saving for your next vacation!

Kyle’s Tips: Whenever a credit card updates its points benefits, make sure to check where you have that credit card stored. Some banks, like Chase, have convenient features that show you where your credit card is stored online. Personally, I check these stored payment methods to make sure that I have the best earning credit card stored for each place I do business at online. That way I can make sure I am not forfeiting any points that could be going to a fun trip later on!
